OPPO
The brief:
Global smart device brand OPPO are an official partner of both Roland-Garros and Wimbledon. For 2023 they wanted to amplify the reach of these partnerships to tennis fans as well as highlighting the qualities of their latest smart phone, the OPPO Find N2 Flip, so they came to Tennishead with a brief…
The solution:
For the two weeks of both Roland-Garros and Wimbledon we sent our Tennishead photographer Mike out onto court with an OPPO Find N2 Flip phone with the task of capturing some iconic images. Mike’s a professional tennis snapper so this was an easy task for him. Every day we posted these photos across the Tennishead social channels which gave our followers some great images and content to enjoy as well as highlighting the qualities of the OPPO product to an engaged tennis audience.
We created online content to support OPPO’s partnership with Roland-Garros and to introduce their sponsored player from South America, an up and coming youngster who was competing in the Boys Singles at Roland-Garros. The content was promoted via social media and included in Tennishead newsletters
The results:
The social content was seen by over 250,000 keen tennis fans across Facebook and Twitter and engagement levels were equally strong with posts receiving thousands of comments and likes
Testimonial:
OPPO’s Public Relations Manager said, “Working with Tennishead was an excellent experience. They are very professional and they really understood our brief and helped with advice on how to achieve the best results. The Tennishead audience is large, global and highly engaged which meant we could expose the OPPO brand and products to exactly the right people“

ASICS
The brief:
A few years ago when they first approached Tennishead, global sports footwear and apparel brand ASICS had just identified tennis as their second most important sport, behind running. They now wanted to rapidly grow their customer base of keen, amateur tennis players with a key objective to increase their tennis shoe market share by promoting the benefits of their technically advanced footwear and apparel.
The solution:
Instead of a more traditional advertising route we decided to launch the Tennishead CLUB with ASICS as the key founding partner. The Tennishead CLUB allows amateur tennis players to purchase an annual membership and in return they receive a package of benefits all designed to help them improve and enjoy their tennis even more.
As soon as they join, members receive a head-to-toe ASICS outfit with a choice of shoe model. Tennishead then communicates regularly with the members about their ASICS products to find out what they think and to encourage reviews of the shoes and word of mouth referrals from their tennis friends.
The results:
With over 2,5000 members joining the Tennishead CLUB since it launched, to say the partnership has been a success would be a massive understatement. Our members are now 95% likely to only wear ASICS tennis shoes and they are 94% likely to recommend ASICS to their friends.
Testimonial:
ASICS Europe Senior Marketing & Communications Manager says, “The Tennishead CLUB really does tick all the boxes for ASICS. We are able to get our products onto the feet of keen amateur tennis players through a trusted medium and those players are then highly likely to become lifelong customers for ASICS.“

3) Keith Prowse Hospitality
The brief:
Keith Prowse are the exclusive provider of Wimbledon hospitality experiences which include the best seats on the show courts during the Wimbldeon fortnight plus 5* catering at a variety of luxurious locations both inside the grounds or just next door on the adjoining parkland. They also provide hospitality packages for the other two leading British court tournamwnts at Queen’s club and Eastbourne. Their brief to us was to help them educate our audience of tennis fans as to the breadth and quality of the experiences they can offer. Tennishead is one of the only media channels where brands with a specific tennis offering can reach 100% targeted audience that’s been built up over many years and is steeped in trust fro what we do at Tennishead.
The solution:
Through a series of educational and creative content we have helped Keith Prowse grow their brand recognition and generate a large number of sales leads but most importantly the number of direct sales attributed to the Tennishead platform has far outweighed their expectations.
Our journalists created an article titled ‘The 8 ways to get tickets for Wimbldeon’ which is now the most popular Wimbledon tickets article globally and features content and links to Keith Prowse’s own wimbldeon offering.
The success came partly from Tennishead’s ability to achieve the highest possible organic Google search rankings meaning that the content we created with Keith Prowse is trusted and read by millions. Just type ‘Wimbledon tickets’ into Google if you want to see the proof!
The results:
Wimbledon 2023 hospitality packages sold out in record time by the end of April, Queen’s hospitality packages were sold out before the tournament began and Eastbourne’s first ever year of offering hospitality packages was a huge success and is being developed and grown for 2023. We are already working with Keith Prowse to promote their 2024 experiences for all 3 tournament’s.
Testimonial:
“The team at Tennishead lead by Tim were a delight to work with and the results speak for themselves. Tennishead has captured a hugely engaged audience of tennis fans and they are expert at talking to that audience and ‘leading the horse to water’. fortunately for us we have an attractive offering which has proved very popular with the Tennishead readers.” Keith Prowse Tennis Marketing Team
